I hate being ignored in the context where the query did not originate from myself. It is endlessly annoying to me when it happens. When I go through some form of exertion or effort at someone’s request, I require that you at least give it a little attention when I deliver the work. Do not receive it and then never reply. The person I am requires that I get feedback. Was the work I did found to be useful? If not, in what ways can I improve upon it? If it was useful, could I get some insight as to what it was that you found of use? Feedback tells me all these things. From these things I can improve myself and how I interact with the world. The world out there includes YOU. Without these answers, what I do can be equated to onanism [look it up]. An exercise merely for its own sake. I think amusing myself is fine, but ultimately pointless. I find no fulfillment in it. Amusing myself and sharing that amusement with others? That is my goal and purpose in life.
The moral? Don’t piss me off by ignoring me when you were the one to initiate.
